Geri Meyer
- Home water? Geri’s home waters are in the Driftless region of SW Wisconsin. Geri is a walk and wade guide for the Driftless Angler and she fishes the spring creeks of the Driftless.
- What 2-3 lines do you use the most and why?
The lines that Geri prefers to use are… the Amplitude Trout (durable enough to handle beaver shoots and barbed wire, floats like a cork, is perfect for glass, and is an excellent tool for delicate and precise Driftless presentation), the Amplitude Infinity (perfect everyday line for hopper dropper rigs, double nymph rigs, and streamer fishing. A great mending line for the twists and turns of the Driftless streams.), and the Sonar Sink 25 Cold (perfect for chasing fall/winter Musky that sit deeper in Wisconsin’s big chilly water)
- Where would you most like to fish?
The water that Geri would most like to fish (bucket list water), are the waters of Mongolia, for Taimen and Lenok, and the marshes of northern Argentina for fresh water Dorado.
- Two Truths and a Lie.
Geri is a twin. Geri plays the banjo. Geri has a collection of Mt. St. Helens ash.
