I’m from the small town of Glenrock located in central Wyoming, I grew up right next to the North Platte River. That is where I fell in love with the outdoors from working horses in the mountains with my dad, fishing the river and its tributaries with my uncles, and chasing big game with friends. As soon as I found out there was such a thing as fishing guides it is all I ever wanted to do. I have an eight year old son of my own that I am teaching how to be an avid conservationist so we can all continue to enjoy this amazing natural resource forever.

  1. Home water?  North Platte River, Wyoming
  2. What 2-3 lines do you use the most and why?
Anadro- The river I guide on is primarily a nymphing river, and this is the most durable line I have ever had in my boat. It can handle being used and abused everyday. I also like that it is over weighted, it helps with turning over those heavier nymph rigs.
Infinity- I like using this line for spooky trout that I can’t get that close to you can bomb it out there with ease and this line still offers the capabilities of an easy mend with a lot of line out to deliver that perfect presentation.
  3. Two Truths and a Lie.
I pack horses in the backcountry of wyoming.
I have arm wrestled Robert Duvall.
I have wrestled in New Zealand.
