Intro

My name is Mike Raymondi and I’m the Head Guide at Three Rivers Ranch Outfitters in Boise, Idaho. I run trips on the Owyhee, Boise, Snake, and Grande Ronde River. Summers are all about trout, and when fall rolls around, I’m chasing steelhead with a two-hander somewhere in the Northwest. If I’m not on the water, I’m usually in the shop talking fishing and helping people get dialed in!

 I’m also a husband and a dad. While I’m out guiding, my wife keeps everything grounded at home, and my little girl is already on track to outfish me someday. I’m looking forward to the day she rows me down the river.

Home water

I grew up fishing at the South Fork of the Boise with my dad, and that river shaped how I read water and became the angler I am today

Fav Lines

Amplitude Infinity — does a little bit of everything. Big and small dries, nymph rigs, really whatever the day calls for.

Sonar Sink 25 — for chucking big streamers and getting down quick (especially when bull trout are involved).

Amplitude Anadro — my big game single hand line. It has a heavier long taper and turns over any heavy setup I’m fishing at ease 

Where I’d most like to Fish

Take a trip up to British Columbia for a month or however long they’d let me stay and swing flies for steelhead on the Skeena River and all its tributaries.
