I’m originally from Southern Colorado growing up with the Arkansas River in my back yard I have fished across the country, enjoy meeting new people and making new friends wherever I go. I’m an UMPQUA Signature Fly Designer, Fishpond Pro Member, Orvis Pro Team Member, Scientific Angler Pro, and so on. I’m always willing to spill the beans and share my Fly Tying and Streamer techniques with anyone willing to learn.
Home waters: Cheeseman Canyon, the Eagle and Blue River.
Lines I use most: I’m a Streamer Junkie no doubt and Sonar Titan 3D Int/sink 3/ sink 5 is my absolute go to it casts big Streamers like a Rocket and gets down right where it needs to be in a hurry. My all-around line for my Nymphing set up is Mastery MPX this stuff takes a real Beating and still remains easy to use. I Tarpon fish a lot up in the Florida Panhandle from Apalachicola to Carabelle my go to is Infinity Smooth Tarpon casts like a dream Loads Fast for those quick shots and lands soft.
Where would I most like to fish: I have a few Bucket list places . Northern Argentina for Golden Dorado, Patagonia and the Seychelles for GT and Permit.
Two Truths and a Lie: I love Backcountry Elk Hunting with my Bow, Love Hanging out with my Awesome wife Tammy. I’ve landed a 190 lb Tarpon on a Tenkara Rod.
