The function of this product is excellent. Easy operation and makes adding/removing a line to/from a reel very simple. The “arbor” size is similar to that of most reels. I’d love to see them come out with a larger version that allows you to spool your lines along a much larger “arbor” diameter for long-term (off-season) storage to reduce potential for line-memory coils. Fantastic product otherwise.

Works great.
However, I wish SA had kept the plastic spools sold with new fly lines. The paper spools are very flimsy and no-way to store a line. The Regulator Spool makes line changes easy but, I’d rather store lines back on their spools, rather than loosely coiled & semi-secured by twist ties.
