Amelie grew up in Quebec City, Canada. As a child, she was introduced to fly fishing by her dad on small lakes and followed him on salmon fishing trips in his hometown, Riviere-Ouelle. Since then, her passion for the sport grew stronger leading her to search for new adventures everywhere she went. She drove over 3600 km with her family to fish in Montana ! She also likes to share her passion especially as a fly casting instructor since 2009. She is also an active volunteer for FQSA (Quebec federation for Atlantic salmon) as Vice-President.
