I purchased the full single rod sleeves as a solution to some “scuffing” I noticed on rods carried in the roof case when driving on rough roads. The sleeves slide easily over the rods and should over ample protection when rattling around in the roof rack. However they do not remotely fit my 10′ or 9 ½ ‘ rods. I assumed the sleeves would come to the grips but they are short by 8-12 inches. This probably won’t be an issue. We shall see. Good design, plenty of room for oversized stripping guides, and easy to slide on and remove from rods. The attached cord is handy for removing the sleeved rod from the roof rack since the sleeve is well out of reach. Would be nice if they covered all the way to the reel seat.
