1 review for Sonar Trout Express

    1. Mike McKeown

      Sonar Trout Express – Sink 5 / Inter / Floating – 210gn

Tested it over the weekend, and I have to say as a sink tip it was phenomenal. Fantastic line, best sink tip I have ever fished. Loaded my 7wt Sage Ignitor so nicely, cast so well. The sink tip got to the right place and stayed there. That little piece of inter line, just helps he transition perfectly.
The floating part floated all the time, and I could see it make micro movements. The sinking part stayed in the zone so long and comfortably. Perfect for swinging flies into structure, without the worry of it being lifted out of the zone, or dropping too deep.
